manufactured standard and custom sports netting for many decades. Our products range from at home golf range nets, to barrier and protective netting at baseball parks and sporting stadiums. All of our nets are made right here in Duluth, MN, contact us and let one of our sales staff assist you. Christiansen Company was founded in 1886 by Hans Christiansen. Originally the company supported the Commercial Fishing industry on Lake Superior by providing fishing and other supplies to remote fishing villages around the lake. Based in Duluth, MN, the company worked out of the steamship Winyah. At the time, no road access existed around the lake and the Winyah provided the best way of reaching these remote villages. As the area developed, the company concentrated its efforts on the fish net business and expanded the business into other netting products.
