That’s a wrap on CultureCon! 📚✨ What a weekend.
We were so proud to serve as the first-ever official bookstore at CultureCon, bringing Dope Black Books into a space built around celebrating our culture, our creativity, and the people moving it all forward. A special thank you to the CultureCon team for welcoming us and making space for the stories that shape our culture. We’re so grateful to have been part of this weekend and to have shared this first with you.
To everyone who stopped by our shelves, discovered a new read, bought a book, or told a friend to come find us, thank you. It was truly a pleasure to serve you. Shout-out to the incredible authors on our shelves, especially the independent authors whose stories deserve to be discovered, shared, talked about, and passed along. 💛
None of this happens without community. While we’re giving flowers, we also want to give a special shout-out to Jessica Williamson (Jessica Williamson ✨ | Miami Cocktail Influencer 🥂 )and Shari Renee (INSPIRE THE TRIBE®). We came across a template they created and absolutely loved what they had done. We loved it so much that we knew we wanted to carry that same energy into how we celebrated our authors at CultureCon. Credit where credit is due. Thank you both for your creativity and for starting a wave we were excited to be part of.
To CultureCon, our authors, our readers, our community, and everyone who helped make this first one so memorable, thank you.
We hope you left with something good to read. 📚🖤
