AY and are always happy to look at what you want to bring. There is no limit to the amount of items you can bring in to trade. We only TRADE, we do not give cash. A detailed explanation of our TRADE POLICY can be found on our website at www.bookexchangeva.com. All trades larger than 2 grocery sized paper bags must be dropped off. We look at condition, popularity, and what we already have in stock. We will also tell you why we can't take something; not popular enough, too tattered-condition wise. If we already have an item that you're bringing in, you're more than welcome to try that item back at another time. If you don't want to take items back with you, you can donate them to charity directly through our location. (We are unable to give donation receipts as we are not a non-profit)

For books you'll receive a quarter of the cover price in store credit on the ones we are able to take. For DVDs, CDs and you will receive $2.50 in credit. Records, TV Shows, and Blu Rays receive $3.50 in store credit. Your store credit is available to use on either side of the store: books, cds, movies, records. The credit is valid in ALL Hampton Roads' Book Exchange Locations but you must have your valid store card with you. (We do not keep record of the store credit, the pocket wallet card is the only record of the credit)


FOR PURCHASES:
We sell all of our books for half of the original cover price. We also take back the books that come from the store. It's not required to bring them back, however, its an easy way to get credit. All DVDs, CDs are $5 each or 3 for $12. LP's are $7 each, if you buy 3 or more, they're $6 each (3 for $18). BOOK EXCHANGE RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. ALL APPROVED RETURNED MERCHANDISE TO THE BOOK EXCHANGE IS SUBJECT TO STORE TRADE POLICY. APPROVED RETURN AND/OR REFUND WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR STORE CREDIT TOWARDS THE NEXT PURCHASE. VALID WITHIN 3 DAYS WITH ORIGINAL RECEIPT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.
