There are moments in life where words simply don’t feel like enough. This is one of them.

Trinity has been one of our longest-tenured employees at Born United Norfolk. From the very beginning, she has poured her heart into our team, our customers, and every event we’ve hosted. Behind her every step of the way was David.

David wasn’t just “Trinity’s husband.” He was someone who would always show up to help with our events without ever asking for recognition. He was the kind of man who genuinely cared about people, always willing to lend a hand, put a smile on someone’s face, or make sure everyone around him was taken care of. His love for Trinity and Ella was evident in everything he did, and the way he carried himself as a husband, father, and friend left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

I’m truly at a loss for words over this tragedy. Our Born United family is heartbroken.

Please continue to keep Trinity, Ella, and their entire family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate the unimaginable in the days ahead. David’s impact on so many lives will never be forgotten.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of Chesterfield Police K-9 Knight, a loyal partner who served with courage, dedication, and unwavering loyalty.

Please keep the Chesterfield Police Department, the K-9 unit, and the family of K-9 Knight in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We also ask for prayers for the officers involved in the incident, especially those who remain hospitalized as they continue their recovery.

The badge is worn by men, women, and K-9 partners who willingly put themselves in harm’s way to protect others. Today, we honor K-9 Knight’s service and sacrifice and stand with the entire Chesterfield law enforcement family.
