Flashback Friday 💗 16 years ago… I was scared stiff.

I had signed up for my first triathlon, and I wasn’t completely convinced I could do it. I was afraid to TRI… but I did it anyway. I swam. I biked. I ran. And I crossed that finish line. 🙌🏾

Looking at this photo 16 years later feels like such a full-circle moment. I wish I’d had this Sole Inspired card back then ... a little reminder that courage doesn’t always mean you’re not afraid. Sometimes courage is being scared stiff and showing up anyway.

“Don’t be afraid to fail. Be afraid not to TRI.”

Funny how life works. The encouragement I could have used then is the encouragement I get to put into the world now. 💕

Keep showing up. Keep trying. You never know where one brave YES might lead you.

The part where motivation leaves and consistency has to take over.

The part where you question the plan, compare your progress, start again, slow down… and wonder if any of it is actually working.

Welcome to the messy middle. It’s not glamorous. It’s not always visible. And it definitely doesn’t always feel like progress. But this part counts, too.

We celebrate the fresh starts.

One thing we’ve noticed lately...

⚽ Our soccer cards have been finding homes with soccer lovers everywhere! 😍 Maybe it’s the excitement of the World Cup. Maybe it’s because soccer season never really ends. Either way, we’re grateful to be part of so many celebrations.
