The Eliza B’s Story

A small gift boutique with a monogramming service was born from original owner, Elizabeth Brislin (the store’s namesake). In September 2017, a previous employee of Elizabeth purchased her store - a dream come true for retired first grade teacher, Amber Shealy.

Amber worked for Elizabeth just months after her first purchase the day before she left for college (a monogrammed market tote). Elizabeth was inclined to hire Amber because of her knowledge of monogramming and sewing that she learned in high school from her Apparel teacher, Ren Jetton. Amber came home during college breaks to monogram at the shop! Amber still remembers feeling like a busy elf during that first Christmas season.

The second Christmas that Amber worked for the store, she was inspired by Elizabeth’s dog, Lola, to purchase her own Yorkie! Elizabeth’s boyfriend even inspired Amber’s new Yorkie’s name - Peanut (a name that Eric liked to lovingly call Elizabeth).

Amber now owns the Arboretum gift and monogram boutique where embroideries are done in house and most vinyl decal monogramming can be done on the spot! Sharing joy, helping you choose the perfect gift and of course, personalization are core values at Eliza B’s! Come on by to see us anytime!
