Located on the Bend’s Westside, Pine Mountain Sports sits on the doorstep of the Deschutes

National Forest and donates a percentage of our sales and efforts each year to support local non-profits and trails.

We’re excited to welcome Lydia & Rafe to the Pine Mountain Sports family ✨❤️

The Lehners bring decades of experience in the cycling industry and a deep commitment to supporting local riding communities. For Rafe, this transition is especially meaningful. Having previously worked at Pine Mountain Sports, he knows the shop, the staff, and the Central Oregon cycling community incredibly well. 🙌

As new owners, Rafe and Lydia are committed to preserving the traditions, community involvement, and rider-first culture that have made Pine Mountain Sports a cornerstone of cycling in Central Oregon. While bringing fresh energy and ideas to the future of the shop, their focus remains on continuing the exceptional service and support our customers have come to expect.

For our customers, it’s business as usual. All bike purchases, service work, and existing orders will continue uninterrupted, so you can expect the same great experience every time you visit. 🛠️

✨ Family Access Network joins our Community Ambassador Program ✨

For 2026, we are proud to announce that the Pine Mountain Sports Community Ambassador Program is partnering with Family Access Network (FAN) , a remarkable organization dedicated to supporting children and families across Central Oregon.

FAN’s mission is simple but powerful: to offer assistance, possibility, and hope to Central Oregon families in need by connecting them with critical resources that help children flourish in school and in life. Unique to Central Oregon, FAN places a dedicated advocate in every public school throughout Deschutes, Jefferson, and Crook counties. These advocates work directly with children and parents to connect them with essential services such as food, shelter, healthcare, clothing, heating assistance, and other resources that create stability when it’s needed most.

The impact of FAN’s work is felt throughout our community. Last year alone, FAN advocates served nearly 8,000 children and family members, helping remove barriers and create opportunities for success both in and out of the classroom.

We are honored to support FAN’s mission and look forward to working together to make a meaningful difference for families across Central Oregon.

Hey everyone,

Dan here. On behalf of the entire Pine Mtn. Sports Family, we hope you and yours are doing well.

The purpose of this message is to let you know that there are some changes happening at Pine Mtn. After much deliberation and soul searching, Michelle and I decided it is time for us to move forward into the next chapter of our lives. We have chosen to sell Pine Mtn. Sports to Rafe Lehner and his wife, Lydia, owners of Mt. View Cycles () in Hood River. Rafe is a former Pine Mtn. employee and a bike industry veteran.

You can count on Rafe and Lydia to move forward with the same level of expertise, ethos, customer service and dedication to our Central Oregon community on which Pine Mtn. has built its reputation.

If you have bike purchases or work orders in progress, gift cards, deposits, or open in-store credits, these will seamlessly transfer along with Pine’s new ownership. Rest assured that Rafe, Lydia, and the team at Pine Mtn. will be there to meet your needs and serve the community in the same manner and dedication.

Michelle and I will continue to be a part of our cherished community for years to come as we embark on this new chapter in our lives. We’ll be using this opportunity to focus on enjoying time with our family, friends, and all that Central Oregon has to offer.
