Have you ever wondered:

How do rivers actually work? What goes on in there? How many organisms actually make up the riverine ecosystem? Where do they get their energy? How many of them have you actually heard of?

The ecology of rivers is complex, concealed, eye-opening and will likely surprise you. Dr. Jerry Freilich will explain how rivers work, and develop your awareness of riverine ecology to better understand why we have to protect running waters and make you think about human effects on the waterways we love and the wildlife that inhabit them.

Memorial Day is a day of reflection, gratitude, and respect for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy every day on the water and beyond.

From all of us at Fly & Field, thank you to the fallen, to their families, and to those who continue to carry their memory forward.

Some days leave us scratching our heads wondering "How did that happen".

Our Guide Adam spotted this stud, got his guest trained up and crawling on hands and knees into position. A few drifts, a battle full of runs and rolls before this guy came in the net! Have a great Monday!
