Facebook and Insta are being weird and not posting the text I've added to my last two posts!

Anyway!

From yesterdays flames, today we have the much more muted vines and leaves. Tablet weaving lends itself beautifully to curving lines like these. The vines design on the left is one of my absolute favorites to weave, along with the Oseberg inspired patterns of the middle and furtherst right.

We're attending Empire this weekend, and will be at the Blanket Bazaar this Thursday night selling our lovely belts and sunhoods.

There's lots of small, independent crafters and artists there come along and see what we have! We're up in the Hall of Worlds between 6 and 9pm!

We're still in love with this flames pattern. We've had fun over the winter season experimenting with metallic and ombre yarns and we're loving how they interact with the flames!

We've got this and lots of other things for you to see at the Blanket Bazaar, this Thursday night at Empire! We'll be there with lots of other small artists and crafters, between 6 and 9pm in the Hall of Worlds

This Arena is mine...

Twill volunteered for the Arena after the one of the other P8s revealed herself to be a rebel and traitor. He was unswervingly loyal to the Metropole, and all around a bit of a bastard...

When you have one final chance. But the answer is still no.

Serenity was doomed from the start. All she needed was an opening and it all came pouring out - 30 years of repressed anger and grief. In front of the assembled Tithes, the cameras of Metropole Media, President Evensong themself.

She could have backed down, gone into the Arena along with the others and died as the Metropole wanted her to. But, she refused and forced their hand.

My most ambitious project to date.

When I got a ticket for Tithing, a Hunger Games inspired larp, I knew I wanted to make a pretty dress for my interview outfit. It gave me to excuse to make a lovely dress that I will wear to Christmas parties and really stretch and develop my skills - I had to learn invisible zip and rolled hem...

The main fabric is a satin back crepe from who helped us choose a suitable fabric and suggested self lining the bodice. The overlay is a lace which happened to be a near perfect colour match

The pattern is S8289

I felt very pretty as I swished around in this on Friday night!

We're loving the rich blue and vibrant red of thid jacket we made for .breyah at Gritlands

The Merlin is Castellan of the Knights of the OK Diner, recording the sworn Oaths of the Knights and holding them to account.

She also sometimes provides therapy after the Knights have encountered the many horrors a Hot Zone has to offer* the unwary adventurer

*Horrors may include, but are not limited to wraiths, dinosaurs, meatfreaks, sec bots and yoga pandas
