I find these little worlds under glass absolutely fascinating. Each terrarium becomes its own miniature garden, with tiny details to discover and a life of its own. They’re a lovely way to bring a little greenery indoors, whether for your own home or as a thoughtful gift. Next time you’re at Exquisite Blumen, come and have a closer look - you might just find one to take home. We also have wonderful books on terrarium and plant care!

Something wickedly fun is happening at Exquisite Blumen! 🎃
The pumpkins are out, the Halloween decorations have taken over, and we’re ready to welcome a few brave souls through our doors!
Come by for the fall wreaths, Halloween-inspired pieces, lots of treats, and no tricks!

Welcoming creatures big and small this spooky October.

What a magical October it’s been. Soaking up the sunshine, enjoying the last of the garden’s colors, and collecting little moments I know I’ll come back to when the December days turn dark and grey.

It’s time for a little fall pruning in the peony garden!
An easy way to tell which peonies are ready to be cut back is to look for stems that have flopped to the ground and are completely withered. These can be cut back to ground level, making way for healthy new growth when spring arrives.
One important exception: tree peonies should never be cut back to the ground, as they have woody stems that stay in place year after year.
And one of my favorite parts of fall pruning is putting those beautiful, colorful foliage offcuts to good use in my floral arrangements. There’s still so much beauty to be found in the garden as the season changes!

There’s so much to discover at the Exquisite Blumen boutique! Whether you’re looking to order flowers for a special occasion, pick up a fresh-cut bouquet to brighten your home, find a beautiful vase to display it in, or browse our collection of books on flowers, plants, and gardening, we have something for every flower lover.

Zinnias have been brightening my early fall days with their cheerful colors, but now the garden is slowly beginning to wind down. Even the earth needs a season of rest. It feels lovely to slow down a little, even though there’s still plenty of work to do to prepare the garden for winter!

Head over heels smitten with baby Forest.
Just a few little snippets from our first days together, and from his beautiful baby shower. It’s hard to believe how much has already happened in such a short time!
Already making the most wonderful memories to treasure and looking forward to be there for all the milestones to come.

Have you ever seen a white spider? This beautiful flower crab spider looks almost like a little jewel nestled in our dahlias. And here’s the fascinating part: flower crab spiders don’t build webs. Instead, they patiently wait on flowers and ambush insects as they land.
Nature really does have the most unexpected little characters!

Isn’t the Exquisite Blumen boutique just stunning?
I take so much joy in seeing what we’ve created together, and how inspiring and aesthetically pleasing it is. I love when all your senses get tingled: the flowers and the beautifully curated products, the fragrance, the gentle sound of water and music we play in the boutique - every little detail comes together.
Come and experience it for yourself!
