Made myself a Faire direct link spreadsheet! It’s taken a bit of work to get it together but I’m so glad I did. Not only am I creating a great list of vendors outside of the closed system, but when I need to order, I can work from my spreadsheet instead of getting distracted on Faire. Done and done. Really trying to keep as much money in the artist’s pocket as possible. Baby steps…

Oak Harbor is closed today. Thought I would be good the day after but I’m feeling pretty dizzy and exhausted after the iron infusion yesterday. So it made sense to take it easy. See you tomorrow!

Meant to post this yesterday. Oops. Next week in Oak Harbor I’ll be closed Wednesday so I can get an iron infusion so I am taking the day off. I should be back Thursday but I’m opening at noon. Weird week but necessary so I can stop feeling like a zombie. My ferritin is like 3 so wish me luck it goes smoothly. Any questions please email because I’ll still check email and messages. Thanks! Joe will be open regular hours, except Wednesday he will be driving me to the hospital and back.

Cyanotype is one of the coolest dopamine projects and I am teaching a class! Saturday afternoon we will learn about the Cyanotype process, and play with shadows and sunlight to make fun prints. And you get a whole kit to take home a try on your own. It’s enough to spend the summer making Cyanotype prints, which is a great way to spend some time. Sign up in bio on IG or our website.

My first class is coming up on Saturday and I need a few more sign ups to make it happen. I know I’ve had people ask about taking a zine class and now is the time. Link in bio (on IG) and on our website. I’ll add the link in comments on FB. And this Wednesday, I’m offering our space up as a creative 3rd space to exchange ideas and work on projects together. We all need this badly. It’s free too! Come out for a couple hours. I would love to make this a regular thing.

Saturday means Farmer’s Market Day! I love the layout this year. It feels spacious with lots of space to hang out. Farmers markets are another valuable 3rd space for community. Make sure to visit all the markets you can this year and support the makers and artisans, and farmers! We bought a Mother’s Day gift and some bread and enjoyed the ambiance. And we found a zine!
