Today was where our local downtown businesses participate by decorating or carving pumpkins and have fun activities for adults and kids! This year I decided to not carve but use to dress up the pumpkins. I painted the biggest one black and used 4 different sizes of googley eyes. For one of the smaller pumpkins, I cut two holes in a crocheted doily for a ghost. And the other small pumpkin was a mummy with vintage cheesecloth wrapped around. Simple. Fun. Vintage. And they sat outside our 60's inspired Groovy Halloween window! Lots of items are moving around inside the shop, too! Stop in to see what's new {old}!

Yesterday I got to go to one of my happy places! ! I drove in a torrential downpour but no matter! I knew it would be worth it. Miss Jamie is one of the most authentic, coolest, kindest farm girls you will ever meet. And her "rubbish" is simply the best. I cannot wait to go through my treasures to see what I'm keeping or selling. Thank you, Jamie, for the rain-dodging, the dry barn, the real conversations, the women-supporting-women, the friendship, and the fantastic shopping. It filled my soul better than any medicine. ❤️
