Again, we skipped the boring unboxing part and went straight to the “uncasing” part in this video of the latest bass to arrive in our Denver shop - an absolute MONSTER of an Jetstream 4-string multiscale with a swamp ash body, wenge-maple neck and a Richlite board. Sonically it’s loaded up with a pair of Big Blade soapbars and an on-board Tone Capsule. This Bass is RAD AF so F-yeah we’re reposting!

Last week we landed our first bass from our friends at Alpher Instruments and Holy Guacamole! is it a GNARLY one! It’s a 34-inch scale Mako Classic that the Alpher guys wickedly set on fire to give it that special Alpher Callida finish. No stains or paint on this one at all - just the natural colors and texture of the burned wood finished with some oil and wax. Freakin’ phenomena! It also packs Hipshot hardware, a roasted maple neck and roasted flame maple fingerboard with Richlite block inlays, and a pair of Fralin 70’s wind J pickups. Bummer if you missed out on those righteous ‘71 Trellas in the SHG-exclusive Black Sugar Sparkle color. They went FAST! And on top of it there’s been a bit of a run on Sullies here over the last week. But don’t sweat it. Make no mistake - we are Sinister AF. And we are also human beings. We see what’s happening in Minneapolis and so many other places and this s**t is 937% messed up. So even though it will hurt us as a small business it’s a small sacrifice to make to stand with Minneapolis and our neighbors - not to mention the greater community of real humans - and take part in the nationwide shutdown on Friday, Jan 30th.
