Cook Thrift Shop The Thrift Shop has resumed its regular hours. Thurs Fri and 2nd and 4th Sat 9-3

The purpose of the organization shall be to promote and to advance the welfare of the Cook Area Hospital and Nursing Home through ways approved by the governing board of the hospital. This purpose shall be accomplished by interpretation of the hospital to the public through service to the hospital, nursing home and the patient and through fund raising in a manner satisfactory to the hospital governing board.

The Thrift Shop WILL NOT be open this week (starting June 15). We are having the parking lot paved and no traffic is allowed in order to let it set up properly. So, no donations accepted this week and we won't be open on Thursday or Friday for shopping as scheduled. Normal shopping and donation times will start again on Monday, June 22. Please respect the work being done and don't drive on the parking lot until the caution tape is removed on Monday, June 22. Thank you!

We are honored to share that the Cook Area Healthcare Auxiliary has donated $71,747 to support Cook Hospital & Care Center in 2026. These funds will help us to maintain and improve the quality of care we're able to provide in our area:

- Funding outings for our Care Center residents
- Dietary equipment upgrades
- Enhancing Care Center resident security by replacing the current WanderGuard system
- Supporting patient wellness and healing with NuStep replacements in our rehab center
