This posting is number 3 of the rooted hoya cuttings for sale. 9 rooted cuttings to be sold together for $32 plus $9.20 shipping. I will include a heat pack. 3-2 leaf cuttings are not shown as individuals in the photo group but are in the first group of all cuttings. This will be a test run so I would appreciate feedback so I can make improvements in providing what you would like from this page. There are 2 leaf cuttings, 3, 4, 5, 6 so interesting arrangements are easy to make.

This posting is number 2 of three hoya postings. These are potted cuttings from last year. I like them! 3 potting arrangements I did not like so I removed the cuttings from those. They are in one set of 9 rooted cuttings for sale.

Put them in your own special containers and they are excellent for gift giving. Color variations are from the color created by the lighting. Info on how many cuttings per pot at each photo. The group of cuttings for sale should be good for making 3 pots about the size of the 2 smaller pots in the posting..

This posting is number 1 of 3 hoya postings. Something different. Lets hear what you think. Posted is a Hoya Carnosa, a favorite vintage indoor vining indoor plant. Easy care, beautiful, durable and delightful. This is one of 3 postings today about the Hoya.

There are many varieties of Hoyas, this one is the old standard. I have my eye on some others. Last year I did cuttings off the plant, set in water then once lightly rooted, planted in containers that I had. No dying, no whining, just growing and getting watered when I thought of it. Excellent results.

Big Red has not been herself this season. Small, narrow clades, a certain lack of fullness . . . I trimmed the plant way back at the end of last season. Maybe just trimming back rather than 'way" back would have had better results. Still, a beautiful sight. It's an old plant, from a friend of a friend. Notice the tan bark rather than green on the bottom two stems? I think it's called corking, something the older plants do. Hoya (carnosa splash and curly hindu rope) are on both sides of the plant. I will also have rooted cuttings of these . . . my favorite vining and indestructible plants . . . in early spring.

There are some useful postings floating around that depict the differences between Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter cactus. Holiday cactus seems to have become a useful catch all and the holiday names are useful to designate time of season that they bloom. Each leaf is called a clade. At the end of the Easter cactus clades are little hairs, a distinguishing feature. I nabbed this picture from another page.

So now starts my holiday cactus season. The first to open was a large, lovely solid fuscia on October 27 . . . 3.5 inches long! Now a number of the fuscia plants are coming into full bloom. No official name, the merchant called it . . . lavender. I am going with fuscia. I love it!

I will be selling fuscia cuttings by mail order at some point in the early spring. Posting holiday cactus info will be here, on this page.
