A HAPPY STORY from GHW owners John and Linda:
Some of you may know that we are grandparents of a baby who was born at 24 weeks and 1 day, 1 lb 10 oz, last August. Baby Logan and his brave parents spent the next 6 months at The Ohio State University and Children's Hospitals helping Logan grow healthy. To say it was a roller coaster ride is an understatement. Thanks to prayers from so many of you and skilled and compassionate medical care provided to Logan, he is now home, happy, growing and bringing joy to us all. A few weeks ago, John and I wondered out loud how we could meaningfully thank the NICU folks. The very next day three women arrived at our shop looking at guitars and musing about funds to obtain a new instrument. When we asked, we discovered they are music therapists at Children's - including the NICU therapist who worked with our Logi! We were honored to provide a new guitar to Kalin, Chloe and Lelia for the Children's Hospital Music Therapy program. They decided to name the guitar "Logan" just for fun. Sometimes life surprises us with unexpected ways to let music say "Many Many Thanks".
