Basecamp Books and Adventure is a veteran owned independent bookstore in Colorado Springs, CO with one of the largest inventories of used books in the Pikes Peak Region. Our goal is to bring bibliophiles and outdoor enthusiasts together in the Pikes Peak Region and beyond to explore more through and . We have great books because we get them from YOU!
-We offer trade credit 7-days

a week
-Trade credit can be used to discount your purchase of USED books up to 50%
-We give roughly 25% of the original cost of paperbacks
-We buy used books for cash on Saturdays and Sundays ONLY
-Cash offers are typically 1/8th of the original cost
-We can take rare or expensive books on consignment
-We ask that you only bring 2 boxes at a time to the store
-We can schedule in-home visits within 15 miles for larger collections

Come one come all to our next first Saturday workday! We will be hosting two of our volunteer activities on June 6, 2026 in the park: trash cleanup and dog waste cleanup. Use the below links to signup to come help beautify our wonderful oasis in the middle of the city. Every volunteer makes a tremendous difference in the quality of the park.

Also, we are changing things up a bit and will be meeting at the Yucca Flats parking lot for both activities instead of the Maizeland parking lot. Both activities start at 9:00 am and will go until around noon.
