🎷 A great start to a week of Selmer Paris!

The fun isn't over yet! 🎶

Our Selmer Paris Saxophone Event continues through Friday, November 6, at ALL Heid Music locations!** Whether you're looking to refine your tone, explore a new mouthpiece, or find your next saxophone, stop in for personalized guidance and hands-on experience.

Kaplan in the Classroom, stop #2!

We had a great afternoon joining D’Addario clinicians Dr. Laura McLaughlin Lingle and Nicole Melrose at Howard-Suamico Bay View.

We’re always grateful for opportunities to support music educators, connect with students, and be part of experiences that bring more learning into the classroom.

Interested in bringing something similar to your school? Email [email protected] to connect with the Heid Music team.

What can a new set of strings change?

Heid Music partnered with D’Addario to bring clinicians Laura McLaughlin Lingle and Nicole Melrose to Bay Port High School for a hands-on string experience with the Bay Port Orchestra.

Students learned more about the history of orchestral strings, then had the opportunity to try instruments with upgraded Kaplan strings and share what they noticed about the sound and feel.

Director Chris Kraly led his orchestra as students experienced the Kaplan strings for the first time, giving them a chance to hear and feel the difference in a real ensemble setting.

We love opportunities like this that give young musicians the chance to explore, compare, ask questions, and build confidence in their own musical ears.

Thank you to Bay Port High School, Howard-Suamico School District, Chris Kraly, D’Addario, Laura, and Nicole for helping make this learning experience possible.

Week 32 of 52 Weeks of Levy’s ☀️🐦

This week, we’re highlighting the Levy’s Sunbird Series, where classic leather craftsmanship meets warm, eye-catching style.

Handcrafted in Nova Scotia, Canada, these straps feature layered leather construction designed for comfort, durability, and a beautifully finished look. Rich tones and thoughtful details give the Sunbird Series plenty of character, with leather that continues to develop its own unique feel over time.

Built for musicians who want a strap that feels as good as it looks.🎸

Today is a GREAT day at Heid Music! 🎶

We’re celebrating music-making across Wisconsin with a recital at Heid Music Madison, Halloween fun with our team, Low Brass Day at UW-Stevens Point, and the grand finale of Anita Collins’ Wisconsin residency at MYArts.

Different places, different people, one shared joy: making music, learning together, and experiencing the impact music can have in our lives and communities.

What a great day to celebrate the joy of music-making. ❤️

52 Weeks of Levy’s continues with a little protection and a lot of personality. 👁️🎸

This week, we’re featuring the Evil Eye strap from the Clairvoyant Series, a bold 2" poly strap with a mystical look inspired by the protective gaze of the evil eye.

A standout choice for players who want their gear to say a little more before they even play a note.
