Safety isn’t something we outsource. 🏔️
We’re seeing a big shift in adventure travel. Large companies are increasingly "outsourcing" entire trips to local hosts. It’s often framed as "sustainability," but the reality is it's more about the bottom line than building real relationships.
Here’s our take:
📍 Partnership: Not outsourcing. We love and support the local economies we visit. We partner with other small businesses and hire local experts for their cultural input and local knowledge. But. We don’t leave the safety and enjoyment of our clients solely on their shoulders. Unless they are appropriately certified, a local guide doesn't form part of our guide:client ratio.
📍 The Safety Net: By having an International Mountain Leader on every trip we offer, we ensure international safety standards and protocols are met, every single time. It's the best of both worlds.
📍 Adventure, by its nature, is unpredictable. Our job is to be the constant. We’ve spent nearly three decades honing the skills required to manage the variables: the weather, the terrain, the group dynamics, so you can simply breathe and be.
We don't just plan for the "best case"; we are trained to lead through every version of the story and we're there by your side from booking, through training to right there on the trail.
