Had considered maybe prepping some handmade items for a stall at maybe Glendalough or Brittas for the summer. I guess that idea was squashed very quickly. We also need public liability insurance to the value of 6.5 million euros. These are the reasons we normally do not do stalls, markets etc etc. We sell direct from buy and sell pages and from our little page here. That my friends is the only way we can keep our prices at rock bottom.
We don't do it to make huge profits or rip people off. We do it because we love what we do, to make top quality hand made affordable items for all.
Christmas is just around the corner and so many people will be trying to sell their hand made products at various markets and stalls.
Please guys, just remember this post. It costs a lot of money to just get that stall there in the first place, let alone make a profit from hours and hours of painstaking work to get the details absolutely perfect. From what we're aware there is nobody else in the Country that does personalised wooden portraits like we do and just because of that alone we could indeed "milk it"if we wanted to but that's not and never will be our objective.
If ordinary people like us can make it, well Ordinary people just like us should be able to afford it.
