A visitor to the Toy Soldier Factory today drove a 1928 vintage car that stands out as rare indeed. The Lancia was the first car to feature a load-bearing unitary body, (but without a stressed roof) and it also pioneered the use of an independent suspension (the front sliding pillar with coil springs). Vincenzo Lancia even invented a shock absorber for the car and it had excellent four wheel brakes.

Sam and Millie graced our little corner of Cork on Friday April 10th to paint a beautiful cat and detailed footballer during a workshop. Watch these figures cast in liquid metal and then paint them as forever souvenirs. Step away from your worries for an hour and be creative.

Shay Walsh, Dean Schroeder and Eli Beare visited the Toy Soldier Factory today to partake in a spring painting workshop and chose a Frankenstein monster, Soldier and Pirate skeleton respectively.
We are open six days a week. Why not visit us and try a workshop yourself and bring home a souvenir.
