listening to joe duffy on the radio today...my heart goes out to the people that have to close their business. what with rates and utility bills. no more footfall. people not being able to afford meat for there families. theres something about a man breaking down crying, it gets me every time...maybe because there situation is so close to my heart. heartbreaking stuff...and all week watching and listening all about Michael D Higgins and his wife at banquets...
("WE CANT AFORD IT") on the news today that his wife brought 18 pairs of gloves with her...all hand made...and thats news??? its a very sad state we live in...well im glad the rates that we pay are keeping someone in the lap of luxury...meanwhile im praying it doesn't rain...in case my roof caves in !!! but I still have them rates to pay...well we do have the government to look after... sickening.
