2025 Château de Versailles 8km Princess Race.

After Lea's epic 15km race, our athlete Rachel took on the 8km Princess race under the midday sun in Versailles ☀️🔥

Rachel swapped her singlet for a wonder woman costume for the princess race 🦹‍♀️ In wonder woman style, Rachel raced home victorious, taking first place in the prestigious race 🏆🥇

to hear the crowds and experience the atmosphere where 22,000 competitors raced on the day.

2025 Château de Versailles 15km Royale Race.

Against thousands of others in a summer heatwave in France, our athlete Lea raced to finish in 15th position on a challenging course. This race took place around the grounds of the Château de Versailles. It includes racing on cobblestones, grass, trail and plenty of hills. Adjusting to the hot conditions made easier from hydrating correctly in advance, as well as after the race for recovery.

Plant Based AC competed in the 2025 Leinster Masters Indoor Championships this month.

Rachel finished first in the 3000m, achieving a new PR of 10:07 for the diatance in the process too. Well done to Rachel and all athletes competing on the day. A word of thanks to all the volunteers for making the day run so smoothly 💪💪

Plant Based AC had two athletes compete in the 2025 British Master's Indoor Championships recently.

Rachel finished:

🥈 2nd in 800m
🥈 2nd in 1500m

Lea finished:

🥈 in 800m
🥉 in 1500m

Plant Based AC is delighted to share the news of our athlete's success in achieving a World Record! 💥 Rachel raced with three others on the Irish F40 team in her first ever relay race. No better race to start with than a World Record attempt.

It was an action packed night in the National Indoor Arena with four World Records broken by Ireland across a number of age categories. Well done to all of the squads for outstanding performances. 💪💪

With a special shoutout to those working tirelessly behind the scenes to make this possible. 🙌

Plant Based AC raced the British Master's 3000m Championship recently. Rachel represented us in the women's 3000m race and podiumed in second place.

With various regional medals being awarded on the day too, it was four to the podium. Well done to all competing in Sheffield's fantastic venue.

Plant Based AC took the win in the women's field in the Kilcullen 5k road race recently. Rachel was hot on the heels of the leading lads, taking 6th place in the overall race and 1st female home.
