😔 Anyone else feeling very flat in the UK today? While a trip to the bookshop won’t fix the nonsense, it will give you a little time to breathe and to decompress. Grab yourself a great book to get lost in today.

…and encourage all those around you to read read and read some more. Because this country could definitely do with reading more - for education, for enjoyment and for empathy.

Let’s raise a next generation who read about the plight of other people in books and feel empathy, rather than anger, fear and hatred. Let’s raise kids who want to build communities who stand together, rather than to ‘Otherise’ people of different colour and culture.

Let’s all be human…together 📚

‘Bear Worries’ - another beautifully fabulous reason to say no to AI-produced slop! This is picture book perfection, a gently hilarious story of Bear, who loves being a bear and eating cookies 🍪 , but who also worries about the ‘what if’. What if he runs out of cookies? What if he misses the bus to the store to buy more cookies? What if he has to take a shortcut through the scary forest and gets lost? 🤔
