Just to make sure everyone knows Marnie is turning 60 on Friday! 😂🥳🎉

We will be closed from Thursday to Sunday inclusive, reopening as usual on Monday.

As it’s Mum’s very special “Last of the 59s to 60th ” birthday weekend, we’re taking a little time out to celebrate together as a family.❤️🥳🎈

We rarely close the shop, so thank you for your understanding and support. We’ll be back on Monday, refreshed and ready to welcome you all again…… although one of us will be a little older ! 😂🥰❤️

Some lovely comments from a family visiting Scotland for the first time. They loved the comfort and cleanliness of the cottage. They also enjoyed a local restaurant called The Rustic Grill, which is one of our favourites. They offer a good Vegan menu and locally sourced produce. Tanja and her family also visited a fabulous gift shop in Inverness, Triquerta Crafts, in the Victorian Market. These are customers of our own business, The Damside. They stock Made in Scotland gifts and love to promote Scottish businesses. It is simply wonderful to see our guests supporting our local economy that has so much to offer. Thank you 🥰

This has to be my proudest April fools yet 😂😂😂

Thanks to our Market manager Cameron for getting involved…… We got Marnie ( Mum) to do a video abroad as it was needed for a Sky news interview happening with me today shop and they wanted her to be in it too as were a were mother and daughter own shop …. And clearly a “special shop “!!!! 😂😂😂😂

We have had an AMAZING time at the catching up with all our amazing Scottish crafters and meeting so many more becoming part of our Triquerta family ! 🥰

After such a busy 2025 we are having a wee mother and daughter holiday - although we are in the shop together every day we miss spending quality time together !💖☀️🥂

We will be closed for the next few weeks and will do a post for opening! ❤️🥰

We just want to thank all our incredible customers both local and worldwide for their love and support of our wee shop and dream over the last 4+ years ! 🥰
