The Catherine Newman Youth Bursary was recently launched in memory of our friend and colleague, Catherine Newman. With a passion for involving the youth in global justice, Catherine played a vital role in the Fair Trade movement in Scotland. The bursary will support young people to attend future International Fair Trade Towns Conferences, helping to build the next generation of Fair Trade campaigners and global citizens. This year, three young people will attend the conference in Belgium through the bursary as part of a Scottish youth delegation.
