We've been slightly delayed in posting this but we are delighted to have been awarded the Prestige Award for Gift Store of the Year - Scotland 2025 / 2026.
This recognition shows that our pursuit for justice, peace and equality, in supporting all our Palestinian Producers is not in vain. Under the current climate it is integral for us to continue with our work in promoting Palestinian culture, heritage, handcrafts and food items and it is becoming increasingly more difficult each day.

We are the First Palestinian shop and Charity in the UK dedicated to Palestinian Fair Trade handcrafts, crafts, books and food and have been operating Nationally and Internationally since 2003 and are proud members of Scottish Fair Trade, Fairtrade Foundation, BAFTS Fair Trade Network UK & Edinburgh Fairtrade City.
We would like to thank all our Producers for all their dedication especially at a time where survival is near enough impossible and the challenges they face daily is beyond imaginable. Many have been completely displaced and the cost to their lives, homes and infrastructure has been devastating. We will continue to work tirelessly to support them wherever we can.
To all our customers, old and new, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude for all the love and kindness and to our staff and volunteers, we couldn't do it without all your hard work. A thank you as well to our Charity, Palcrafts and all the Council members for the continued encouragement and efforts to see us succeed.

***SHOP HOURS & POSTAGE DATES***

We will be open late on Thurs the 18th until 7pm and on Christmas Eve until 4pm.

The shop will be closed from the 25th Dec until the 3rd Jan and will re-open on the 5th January 2026.

Last dates for the shipping to send your Christmas gifts and orders.
We unfortunately cannot guarantee delivery once the items have been posted but we will post all orders out on these days.
We are open until 4pm on Christmas Eve.

Hadeel is coming to London this weekend. So please do come along to say hello and to support our Fair Trade Producers direct from Palestine. We only have a limited amount of stock available but do come and see the large range of products we have in stock at our shop in Edinburgh. We're the oldest exclusively Palestinian Fair Trade shop in the UK.

Visit our stall at Kings Place in London this Sat, 1st November at the Voices of Palestine Festival with PalMusic UK.

A reminder that our organic Fairtrade extra virgin olive oil is temporarily only available in bottles without certification marks. The previous certifier had to stop operating due to security issues, and the new certifier is taking a little while to come on line.

In the meantime please do keep choosing this wonderful olive oil - and support the same producers, growing their olives to the same standards, while facing enormous challenges.

As members of the Fair Trade movement, we are united in our belief that every person has the right to live and work in safety and determine their own future.

Today, we raise our voices in solidarity with the people of Gaza and the West Bank whose futures are being deliberately dismantled.

The Fair Trade movement stands for fairness, solidarity and the empowerment of people to decide their own futures. We cannot remain silent while the foundations of life are being destroyed.
