Please pray for Stephen Ogilvie.

Looking at the suffering this man has endured is heartbreaking. As Catholics, we are reminded that every person bears the image of God, and when one member of the human family suffers, we are called to respond with prayer, compassion, and love.

Let us pray for Stephen’s healing, comfort, and strength as he faces a long road to recovery. Pray also for his family, friends, carers, and all those supporting him through this difficult time.

Heavenly Father,

Place Your healing hand upon Stephen. Grant him courage in his suffering, peace in his heart, and hope for the days ahead. Surround him with Your love and the protection of Our Blessed Mother. Through the intercession of St. Joseph and all the saints, may he know the comfort of Christ, who suffered with us and for us.

We also pray for the person responsible for this attack. Touch his heart with Your grace, bring him to true repentance, and lead him to seek mercy, forgiveness, and a new way of life.

Lord, we pray too for all those whose hearts are filled with anger, hatred, violence, or despair. Shine Your light into their darkness, soften what has become hardened, and replace hatred with love, bitterness with mercy, and violence with peace.

May Your healing be poured out upon all who suffer, and may Your justice and mercy prevail.

Through Christ our Lord.
