Principal Responsibilities
You will supervise a team of staff and manage the picking, packing and dispatching of all online orders. The role requires an individual who can organise themselves and their team to adapt to a continually changing schedule throughout the day.
The successful individual will work within a high-paced work environment and will need to have excellent communication skills.
Person Specification
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure online orders are dispatched on time
Lead, manage and mentor online operations team to ensure performance objectives are met
Promote excellent working relationships with all departments within the company
Set, monitor and analyse KPI measures for self and team in line with company priorities to drive excellent customer service
Be accountable for the delivery of KPI measures across a team
Committed to the growth of the company
Work with management team on change initiatives
Skills:
Able to effectively prioritise workload in order to set and meet clear targets
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Excellent organisation skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to analyse data to drive performance and promote excellent customer service
Reliable and committed
Self-Motivated, self-starter with a drive for results
Experience
At least three years management experience
Direct management experience of leading a small team in a retail or distribution environment
Experience of working to agreed targets
Understanding of warehouse practises e.g. picking, loading
Used to working in a fast paced environment
Minimum Qualifications
NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline
Very good numeracy/literacy skills no
Salary & Hours:
Full time β 37.5 hours a week plus additional hours when required
Working hours will include week days and occasional Saturdays, will need flexibility to extend working hours in the week when required
Candidates must be available to work any time between 7am-5pm Monday to Friday and 10am-4pm on Saturdays if required.
Salary Β£20,000
