🔥 Attention Gas Aga owners 🔥

After the recent spell of warm weather and the sudden return to cooler temperatures, we’ve seen a significant increase in calls from Aga owners who switched their cooker off and are now having difficulty relighting now that they require the heat again.

To help avoid this situation, we always recommend turning your gas Aga down to the pilot flame rather than switching it off completely. The pilot flame maintains a small amount of heat within the burner, which helps to prevent the cast iron components from becoming cold and potentially developing surface rust. It also makes relighting the appliance much easier and more reliable when you want to bring it back into full operation. Keeping your Aga on pilot can save time, reduce the risk of relighting issues, and help protect the longevity of the appliance.

On most burners, including the one pictured, switching to the pilot flame is as simple as turning the control k**b clockwise to the white band position.

Having seen just four weeks of use from new due to unforeseen circumstances, this cooker remains in exceptional, condition. Prior to dispatch we will also fit new chrome lids, liners, door backs and seals.
