Students return to York Suburban this week…YAY! We can’t wait to see everyone. As we settle into our routines, here are a few important safety reminders to help keep our student drivers, walkers, and bus riders safe. Let’s all do our part to make it a safe and successful start to the school year!
🛑 Always stop when a school bus has its stop sign extended and red lights flashing. This means children are getting on or off the bus, and they might be crossing the street.
🚘 Be extra cautious near school zones and bus stops. Slow down and be prepared to stop suddenly.
📵 Avoid distractions while driving, especially in school zones and parent drop off/pick up lines.
As a reminder, you can find transportation times in the Infinite Campus parent portal. We’ve had some new enrollments in the last two weeks, so please confirm your child’s bus arrival times before their first day of school.
