Today is one of those days that makes our whole family incredibly proud.

We're excited to share that Bonny has successfully passed the Professional Floral Design Evaluation and has been invited into the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD)—one of the highest professional honors in the floral industry.

Most people have never heard of AIFD, and that's okay. Think of it as the floral industry's equivalent of earning a board certification or master-level professional credential. Designers aren't simply allowed to join—they must demonstrate exceptional design skills, creativity, technical knowledge, and professionalism through a rigorous evaluation.

Very few florists ever reach this level, and even fewer from small communities like ours.

For years, Bonny has poured her heart into every wedding, sympathy tribute, birthday arrangement, anniversary bouquet, and "just because" design that has left our shops. Many of you have trusted her with some of the most important moments of your lives, and we're so grateful for that trust.

This recognition isn't just for Bonny—it belongs to our customers and our communities as well. Your support has made it possible for her to pursue excellence and continue growing as a floral artist.

From everyone at Backstreet Florist and McCrory Flower Shop, thank you for believing in local, family-owned businesses. We can't wait to continue creating beautiful flowers for Wynne, McCrory, and the surrounding communities for many years to come.

Please join us in congratulating Bonny on this incredible achievement! 🌸💐❤️

George Terry Hutcherson, Jr., 84, of Wynne, passed away at his home on Monday, July 20, 2026.

Terry was born on August 19, 1941, in Cairo, Illinois, to George Hutcherson and LaVerne Brewer Hutcherson.

In 1966, he married the love of his life, Robbie Long, and together they were blessed with two children, Deborah and G.T.

Terry was the owner and operator of Hutcherson Flying Service where he built a respected career in aviation. Outside of aviation, one of his greatest passions was training reining horses. He loved involving his entire family in the business, and together they earned numerous awards over the years.

Terry developed into an accomplished bowler, winning many awards. He also enjoyed the game of golf and found great success on the golf course, earning numerous honors throughout his life. Terry was also an avid fisherman and treasured every opportunity to be on the water, especially when fishing with his grandsons.

Nothing brought Terry greater joy than being “Papaw” to J.D. and Jacob. He never missed one of their baseball games and could always be found cheering them on from the stands. Whether sitting in the bleachers or spending a day fishing together, the time he shared with his grandsons and their friends was among the greatest blessings of his life.

Terry and his wife, Robbie, could always be found side by side in the stands, enthusiastically cheering on the Wynne Yellowjackets. Whether it was football on Friday nights or basketball during the winter season, they faithfully supported their community and friends.

A man of deep faith, Terry was an active member of Three Trees Cowboy Church. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his dedication to his work, his competitive spirit, and the many lasting friendships he built through aviation, horses, bowling, golf, and fishing. More than any accomplishment, he will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, and proud Papaw whose greatest joy was his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Robbie Long Hutcherson of Wynne; his daughter, Deborah Littlejohn of Wynne; his sister, Vicki Forrester of Higden, Arkansas; his sister-in-law, Sandy Beckes of Cedarville, Arkansas; his two grandsons, J.D. Littlejohn and Jacob Littlejohn, both of the home; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, G.T. Hutcherson; and his sister, Belinda Fortenberry.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at Three Trees Cowboy Church. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m., with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org or to Three Trees Cowboy Church, 222 CR 381, Wynne, Arkansas 72396.

Kernodle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Our prayers are with the family and friends and community that loved and surrounded Mr. Joey Lynn Taylor who has gone to his Heavenly home.

Joey is preceded in death by his son Nickolas and survived by the love of his life, Debra Taylor, of 50 years, son Jerrad and daughter-in-law Lindsey and four grandchildren, Harrison, Annabelle, Lockelyn and Landry. Joey absolutely adored all four of them by spoiling them and he loved being called Pops.

Visitation of Joey’s life will be held Monday, July 20, 2026, 9 to 11, with Celebration of Life service beginning at 11:00 at Wynne Baptist Church, 1200 Bridges Avenue East, with Pastor Matt Dunavant officiating. Burial will follow at Crosslawn Cemetery in Wynne.

We will be working thru the weekend for Mr. Joey’s service, so please feel free to call us to order 870-238-2528 or order online at www.backstreetflorist.com - we will have to deliver early early Monday morning. 💛
