I’ve always been a collector, growing up in a large farm family and attending farm and estate auctions with my mom. My favorite thing to do was comb through the $1 boxes to see what I could find. My first real collection was and still is vintage fruit jars. I started painting furniture for our own home and used the hobby to relax from my hectic day job. I soon realized that I had acquired (hoarded
) more furniture than we needed and a business was born. I could not do all the crazy ideas I come up with, without my talented hubs, my right-hand man, Ray. I’ve sold as a vendor at several shops until Cheryl and I collaborated to open White Cottage Market. I have an eclectic style leaning toward vintage cottage. I love to decorate with fruit jars, crocks, wood boxes, graniteware, milk glass, white and pastel pottery. You will find all my favorite things at the shop too!
