I’ve been holding onto this pair since 2018, and alas have invested the time to present the harmony of these atomic inspired skateboards.

Custom-fabricated bracket, hand dremeled wheel sockets + 25W bulbs. The symmetry of the light through the translucent wheels finally brings the colors to life and crosses off my first completion of 2026.

They say your environment reflects your mind, but lately, I’ve needed my environment to be the refuge from it. Using this weekend to rearrange was a necessary escape from the heavy political unrest in MN. It’s hard to celebrate a ‘new look’ when you’re mourning the state of the world and the ongoing harm, but I’m hoping this new space renews focus.

This holiday I am set up at the Firecracker 4th Antique show for the 4th year - and this show remains a high-end selection of americana, primitive, folk art, advertising, and country core.

Early bird crowd is just ending at 10, and we have general admission from 10-5, and 10-4 on Friday the 4th.

We've been busy since Junk Jubilee creating some more pieces, a favorite of mine is the airport toy turned desk lamp. Each plane has 25W bulbs inside - see also the camera tripod lamps and ofcourse the studebaker tailgate bench - all for sale, plus more today Midwest Antique & Art and The Collector's Eye Shows in Cedar Rapids - 10-3.
