MSR UPDATE
We are adjusting our operating schedule, effective immediately. MSR will no longer be open on Fridays and Saturdays until the fall season commences, anticipated to be around September. Our Rookie Series will conclude tomorrow night, Friday. Despite the schedule adjustment, MSR has confirmed big races that will proceed as scheduled. Monday night round racing and Thursday's NSR CLASSIC SERIES will continue uninterrupted.

Meanwhile, MSR is gearing up for a significant event, with over 27 registrations already confirmed. The MSR MODS are coming to town, promising an exciting all-day event on our 8-lane, 192ft raceway. The event is limited to 40 racers, forming 20 teams of two, with B drivers drawing for their A partners. Further details, including final rules and event format, will be announced shortly. MSR MODS are available for purchase at MSR.

MSR UPDATE The series has come to a close. Duane Jarvis claims the title of 2026 AMC HORNET CHAMPION. Let's review the outcome. Curt Ostrander boasted the superior vehicle and led entering the final event, but Duane Jarvis applied significant pressure, disrupting Curt's stride. Curt's night unraveled when his car flipped upside down, an unusual occurrence in an otherwise consistent season. Ultimately, both drivers conducted themselves with dignity, shaking hands and expressing enthusiasm for the next series. This is the true spirit of MSR. Jeff Grela proved once again why he's a contender, staying in the mix until the very end. The final standings are: 1st Duane Jarvis - 660, 2nd Curt Ostrander - 630, 3rd Jeff Grela - 617, 4th Hank Prouty - 478, 5th Jason Tetu - 452, 6th Stu Rice - 449, 7th Lantz Cook - 432, 8th Steve Sweeney - 376, 9th Ken Diley - 374, 10th Christine Holmes - 367. MSR UPDATE The final three rounds of the series will take place tonight at 6:00 PM, marking the culmination of the AMC HORNETS' competition. Currently, Curt Ostrander maintains an 18-point advantage over Duane Jarvis, yet the actual gap is narrower than it appears. Following throw outs, Jarvis is merely 6 points behind, a deficit Ostrander is presumably aware of. Despite Jarvis's prolonged slump exceeding a year, he still has an opportunity to claim the championship. The stage is set for an exciting conclusion.

This monumental occasion will feature over 30 MSR MODS that have been presold and are nearly ready to dominate the track. Top drivers have secured their rides, and the tension is building! The MSR update brings electrifying news: last night's racing at MSR was a testament to fierce competition, with Curt Ostrander navigating a commanding lead that seemed assured, alongside Jeff Grela in pursuit. Curt's calculated approach focused on strategic points accumulation, yet seasoned veteran Duane Jarvis burst onto the scene with his AMC GO PACK 390 4SPEED, rattling the competition and dramatically shifting the standings. With three impressive throwouts, Jarvis now closes in, trailing by merely 5 points, and setting the stage for a captivating finale next week where precision will be paramount. MSR UPDATE
The AMSCO SCALEAUTO GT CHAMPIONSHIP has come to a thrilling conclusion, marking the end of an exciting journey for the 9 racers from MSR who participated! Collectively, we should be proud of our outstanding performance. Jayden Lapierre, along with his dad Mike and Duane, made a significant impact by qualifying for the final 32 out of 92 competitors. Jayden truly shone in the final rounds, carrying the team spirit into the final 8 and ultimately finishing 5th overall. Throughout the competition, Jayden demonstrated remarkable driving skills, consistently pushing the limits. Additionally, Jayden, Mike, and Jeff took home notable hardware for their heat wins.
