It’s time!! This Friday starts the Spectacular!!! I hope to see everyone there. Remember that there are free shuttles from the parking area to the main buildings. I am located in the same place as the last several years, on the back wall of the Annex Building!! I always suggest getting the multi-day pass. There are over 375+ vendors this year!

Plan your visit today for the Howard County Crafts Spectacular which will be held on November 6-7-8 beginning at 9am each day. Tickets are available at the gate as you enter. We will have over 375 crafters filling the Main Building (including New Addition), six Barns, Small Building and outside at the fairgrounds in West Friendship, MD.

For many years, Mid-Atlantic German Shepherd Rescue has been a part of the Howard County Crafts Spectacular. Their main purpose is to find forever homes for German Shepherds in the Mid-Atlantic region. Here is a story that we recently learned about: "Your craft show is actually how we found our dog last year and telling the story brings tears of joy to my eyes. We'd applied to MAGSR seven months previous and were waiting on a good match. We went to the craft show on a whim after hearing it advertised on the radio, not realizing MAGSR was there, and fell in love with a very sweet 5-year-old long coat German shepherd. We were fifth on her wait list and amazingly we were able to adopt her. She is absolutely perfect for us - we call her our miracle dog. We will be thrilled to explore the craft show this year with her." Pictured here is Marin.

This weekend is going to be epic! Come out and support authors and crafters at FrightReads. Dress as your favorite horror or fantasy character and take part in all the discussions and entertainment! Don’t forget to bring the kids out for the costume contest!

Save the dates now! I can’t wait to see everyone at the Festival of Trees this year! If you have never been to this, please come check it out this year! So much to do and see for kids of all ages!
