Metro area's highly anticipated new local game store opened its doors to everyone, when it's November 2017 soft opening teased of great things to come. By May of 2018, three large bold words that comprise the locally-made neon sign forever altered the skyline in the heart of our neighborhood near Wheaton Metro Station. They could have read "Fun. Community." but we thought "D.C. Games" had a certai

n ring to it...

As local folks who have been long-time gamers and geeks, we are proud to offer a Metro, Ride-on, and ADA accessible space for you to shop and play with our meticulously-curated selection of board games, retro videogames, RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, and Magic: the Gathering cards. We host a busy calendar full of events ranging from casual board game nights to indie movie screenings to D&D Adventurer's league. Our Magic: the Gathering offerings include everything from beginner and casual events to Competitive-REL qualifiers. Format-wise we regularly offer Draft, Standard, Modern, and Legacy tournaments. Since community is so important to us, community-driven Magic formats like EDH, Vintage, Old School, Middle School, Premodern, Pauper, Chaos Draft, and Cube also make appearances on the calendar. players, the mad lad has done it: a full 720 card Cube Draft that can sit 16 players at once!

🎟️ Join us on Saturday at 3:30pm for Jesse's End-of-the-World, aka Omni-Pocalypse, booster draft. It features some of the most powerful cards ever printed, like 🪷 and Mox Poison, alongside DEEP CUTS from supplementary sets, Secret Lairs, and Commander products. All of this is wrapped up in a box with beautiful foil treatments and the occasional card alteration to keep even veteran drafters on their toes!

Promo packs to all attendees, and Jesse might toss in some more surprises based on attendance!! 🎉
