Well, the time has come to make a big announcement….as you know, I sold my house. I needed to slow down a bit and find a smaller, fun space. Soooo…. Because I don’t do anything half ass, I will be moving both my living space AND R & R across the street to 205 Main St (formerly known as Swan’s)!

I’m so honored and exciting to have this opportunity in such an amazing building that has held so much of Wayne’s history and still keeping a business on Main Street! Thank you Jen Claussen for just being awesome to work with (even when I was a pain in your ass) and my tribe at State Nebraska Bank & Trust who truly care about supporting the dreams of their people.

I close on both the house and the business on June 22nd and then the magic happens! We will move the house first and then later in the week, begin moving the store. The plan is to have both locations open for The Wayne Chicken Show and then close up the 210 shortly thereafter. Hopefully, you’ll see no interruptions in the store hours and I’m always looking for extra help to move items.

If you’ve never seen the stunning apartment above the new store, you’ll get your chance. During Christmas on Main, the apartment will be all decorated for you to take a tour to motivate you for the holidays. I cannot wait to make this my new forever home!

My last thank you is to Trisha Peters for helping me with all these crazy moving pieces, giving the best advice and treating me to drinks after I signed the purchase agreement on the house through tears. His gives you great people and I cannot say enough about this lady…she’s a gem!

Now… how do I STOP calling it Swans???? 🦢🦢🦢
