A bit of a personal milestone, but I wanted to share with you all. 🤍
Three years ago, I was recovering from a major back injury, and I was just grateful for days I felt strong enough to carry my child. I never would have believed this was possible.

But today, with encouragement from .intobeing I took a small baby step towards doing a handstand—and it felt so empowering.
It’s easy to underestimate yourself, and how much you can change when you show up little by little, day by day.✨ It’s the same way we feel here at the shop, about making the little changes in your life that lead towards big growth, change, and opportunity. So I hope you consider this your sign to try something new, trust yourself, and surprise yourself along the way. 💫🌙🌿🤸🏻‍♀️

I came across photos today from a trip to the coast we took on a whim years ago when we were living in Seattle, standing on the shores of Ruby Beach, hands resting on my growing belly, carrying my first baby.
I remember that moment so clearly and yet it feels like a lifetime ago.
I was wondering what motherhood would be like, how much it would stretch me, remake me.
I want to tell myself that motherhood will soften and strengthen me, at the same time.
That there will be seasons of exhaustion and seasons of wonder, often both in the very same day.
That I will lose parts of myself I thought I needed, and discover parts of myself I never knew existed.
Today I find myself meditating in quiet prayer:
May we honor every version of ourselves.
The women who are becoming.
The mothers in the thick of it.
The mothers remembering who they were before.
May we trust that even when we cannot see what’s ahead, life is gently shaping us into who we are meant to be.
And may we remember that transformation is often happening long before we realize it.
