ABC Thrift Shop Washburn's ABC Thrift Shop was founded in 1989 to offer low cost serviceable goods to the Chequamegon As of 2018 the ABC Thrift Shop has a new look.

It was remodeled and now offers even more sales options of low cost serviceable goods. The ABC Thrift Shop is solely operated by volunteers. All profits beyond operational expenses are donated to worthy causes and non-profit groups. The ABC Thrift Shop board is made up of 9 volunteers, two each from the four local Washburn churches and one at large member. Board members distribute income to the ne

edy through thirteen area churches as well as the Salvation Army, B.R.I.C.K., New Day Shelter, Toys for Tots and other numerous nonprofit groups. While Facebook insists on categorizing the shop as a "thrift & consignment" shop we do not accept consignment items.

We are typically open 10-4, Monday through Friday, 10-2 on Saturdays. We are run 100% by volunteers so there are times we have to close early, open late or not open at all. It's best to call the shop to verify that we're open if you are traveling any distance. 715/373-5929. Thanks!
