I think a little laugh might do good for any of us these days. I ‘m working on new jewelry for a quick “pop- up” at Ghost Ship Gallery next Saturday the 15 th and a 3 week run at La Pointe Center on Madeline Island. That’s from July 17th to August 6th.I just came back up to my shop to finish off some pieces and realized I have no pants.I felt a tick stuck to my back upper leg and took off my pants and went down to the house to have Bob remove the bu**er. Was only young wood tick this time. Whew!! But I proceeded back to shop with no pants believing I left here. So for the remainder of this lovely day I’m making awesome jewelry pantless. 😉

Happy New Year! 253 steps from house to studio door. I make that walk on average 5 times a day.That's a mile and I'm feeling good.Working on designs and revisiting old favorites.My personal growth as a metalsmith gives these "oldies" a new feel and look. I do believe my past has become my future.... at least for now.

I love it when I dream about making jewelry. Letting my sleeping brain create. Last night it was rings and necklaces made with dried tomatoes and sterling. A nice combo, the deep dark red of the tomato, soft buff silver......
