This beautiful Eastern Black Swallowtail butterfly needed a boost out of the greenhouse this morning. She seemed reluctant to leave, whether it was from the heat of my hand, or missing her cup of coffee, I was pleased to have her so close to admire her unique markings.Hope you have an equally delightful day!

Just some peonies for a couple weddings this week 😍

Our local florists are true artists, mixing colors so beautifully together to create individual masterpieces! I am in awe of their talent.

I’m looking forward to seeing their incredible arrangements while creating lovely memories for their clients.

Ha- the things we find in our field after a summer(or two!) of planting :)
Come to find out the land was used for wheat, rye, and alfalfa before becoming a residential area.
Some seeds can lay dormant for up to 100 years, only to spring to life with the right conditions (such as planting dahlia tubers!)
Maybe we’ll get enough to start a bread making business- you never know! 😍
