We painted the top front panel of several stores this weekend to brighten up the look. Dollar Tree signed a new five year lease to remain at Crystal City and Coney Island is now open till 7 on Tuesday-Thursday evenings!

Shop local and keep these stores and restaurants thriving!

The owners of the Shopping Center have announced a "no tolerance" policy on loitering on the concrete pillars and restaurant picnic tables or anywhere up and down the sidewalk. Smoking near the entrance of a store is already against the law but congregating, sitting in groups, sleeping, or gathering together will not be allowed. Previous gatherings in front of Moving Forward Safe Place have resulted in complaints by all of our anchor tenants to their corporate offices and to the owners of Crystal City. Moving Forward was notified that if gatherings continued, their lease would be cancelled this week. They have decided to cease operations immediately and begin liquidating the Resale Shop (which was part of Moving Forward) over the next few weeks. The property manager is on site, working to enforce these new guidelines along with PHD Security, our security service.

This unauthorized collection box appeared about a week ago under the sign in the Crystal City Shopping Center parking lot. If it is not removed by whomever placed it by Monday evening, the owners of the Shopping Center will authorize it to be removed. Please help us find the owner and please do not set up competing businesses or services on the sidewalk or in the parking lot without prior authorization.

There is still snow on the parking lot but the restaurants and businesses you have grown to love really need you now. They didn't have a Saturday to give up, income wise and they all need you to remember them over the next several days when you eat and shop.

The grocery store will open at 10 AM And close at 7 on Saturday. AutoZone is preparing their sidewalk as well. The parking lot has patches of dry places that have drifted but generally, it’s pretty rough on the road to get to Crystal city and in the parking lot. Lots of slick areas. If you do get out, please be careful.
