When Alyssa & Brendan first shared their vision for white & green wedding flowers, they were quick to call their palette boring.
We knew their flowers would be anything but!
With a classic white & green palette, texture is everything. We grow so many different white flowers, including roses, lilies, hydrangea, snapdragons & cosmos, along with layers of interesting foliage. Mixing shapes, textures, movement & shades of green is what turns a simple palette into something lush, dynamic & full of personality.
And honestly? That’s one of our favorite things about designing with locally grown, seasonal flowers. White & green doesn’t mean choosing two or three flowers from a catalog. It means walking through the fields, seeing what is blooming beautifully that week & bringing it all together in a way that feels abundant, organic & rooted in the season.
A classic palette can still feel wild & whimsical. It can still feel interesting. And it can absolutely make a statement.
So no, Alyssa & Brendan, we don’t think your palette was boring at all. 🙃
