We took Steven Cordova's words to Spain. His first poetry book-length collection, Long Distance, published in 2010 by the Bilingual Press | Editorial Bilingüe, tells the story of the life of a young gay man living in New York who has tested positive for HIV.
We carried his haunted poems that made us laugh and be present with his language infused with grief and tenderness.
