Heart & Soul’d is not a company that was simply created but an endeavor that was truly born out of love, family and two unique adoption stories. Two sisters, Terry and Kristen, 11 years apart in age, chose to adopt at different times in their lives and wound up bringing home baby girls(Cat and Nina) on the same day in March, 14 years apart. Adoption was not an easy road and it was certainly one th
at required a financial commitment many families cannot afford. Terry and Kristen simply can’t imagine their families without the gift of adoption. Terry and Kristen always had the love and support of their brother Tom and parents (Tom and Pat), parents who lived through faith, family and philanthropy. After losing Tom and Pat only 9 months apart, it was clear to Tom, Terry and Kristen that their parents’ spirit of giving needed to be continued. One night, after watching an inspirational show about kindness, Terry and Kristen decided it was their calling to open Heart & Soul’d with the sole intention of helping other families become complete through the gift of adoption. Through the sale of upscale repurposed and gently used items, all profits from Heart & Soul’d will be donated to satisfy the legal fees need for foster families in Delaware County to complete the process of adoption.
