o be outfitted with dry equipment, canyoneering boots, neoprene socks, and wooden hiking sticks. We rent cruiser-style bikes for use on the park's Pa'rus Trail and Scenic Drive. River Tubes can be rented from Memorial Day to mid July (depending on the year). Come cool off after a day of hiking on the scenic Virgin River. Tubing, biking, and hiking all begin right from our shop! Camping during your stay? We have a large shower and laundry facility located on the bottom floor. This is the closest facility to the Zion campgrounds. Our knowledgeable staff are here to answer your questions and help you make the most of your time in Zion!

The ZNP shuttle service is running during the holiday season, giving visitors an easy way to access the park. This is temporary, as shuttle service pauses for the winter after January 3rd.

If you’re visiting before then, plan to take the shuttle or ride a bike to reach the Narrows.

Our preparations for the spring season are underway as we transition to newer and faster electric bike models. We’re excited about this change, and we think you’ll appreciate it as well.

With this update, we’re offering our 2025 e-bike fleet for sale, giving you the chance to bring the ride home.

Bike Details:
• Model: Batch Class 1 E-Step-Through Plus 2025
• Bosch 250 motor with a 400-watt power pack
• Tektro hydraulic brakes
• Shimano nine-speed drivetrain

Each bike will be available for $400, which includes the e-bike equipped with its battery and a charger. Additional batteries are available for $50 each.

The holiday season is racing toward us faster than the leaves turned yellow, and we’re gearing up for the journey ahead!

Thanksgiving Day — Thursday, November 27th
Our doors will open bright and early at 7:00 AM and won’t close until 7:00 PM.
If you’re planning to hit the trails or slopes the next morning, we’re offering a special next-day rental window from 3:00–6:00 PM, so you can grab your gear on Thursday and be adventure-ready by Friday.

Beginning Monday, December 1st
We’ll enter our winter rhythm with regular hours from 8:00 AM–7:00 PM, guiding explorers through the quieter season ahead.

Fall is here, and while the colors are taking their sweet time to show up, we’re still holding out hope for those golden leaves and crisp canyon views!

With the season changing, so do our hours. We’re now open daily from 7am–8pm, and our Narrows rental desk is ready for you from 7am–7pm. You can grab your gear the morning of your hike, or swing by the evening before between 3pm–7pm to get a head start.

October is one of the busiest—and best—times to explore, so plan ahead, and don’t hesitate to ask our team if you need a little guidance on your adventure.

We’re deep in the heart of monsoon season here in Southern Utah—a time when the desert comes alive with powerful storms and breathtaking skies. Monsoon season runs from July through September, but unlike the endless rains of the tropics, Utah’s monsoons bring sudden bursts of moisture that fuel dramatic, electrifying thunderstorms.

With that beauty comes risk. Those storms can unleash flash floods—roaring torrents that carve through riverbeds, sweep across desert canyons, and transform quiet trails into rushing waterways in minutes.

Nowhere is this more important to remember than in The Narrows. Towering canyon walls rise hundreds of feet above, leaving no high ground when water surges through. It’s one of the most awe-inspiring hikes you’ll ever do—but also one of the most vulnerable during monsoon season.

Your safety is in your hands. Always check the forecast, talk with our staff or park rangers, and make sure you’re prepared before stepping into the canyon. The Narrows is an unforgettable adventure—we just want to ensure it’s a safe one.

The trails are calling, and summer is on the horizon.

As the season shifts, so do our hours — we’re now open every day from 7 AM to 9 PM, giving you more time to explore, wander, and soak in the beauty of the wild.

If you’re setting out to hike The Narrows, you can pick up your gear the evening before (4 PM–8 PM) or first thing in the morning at 7 AM, just as the canyon begins to wake.

With Memorial Day weekend approaching, please note: from Friday, May 23rd to Monday, May 26th, all rentals will be first-come, first-served — reservations will be paused as we welcome one of the busiest weekends of the year. Plan ahead and arrive early!

▪️What is a flash flood?

Flash floods are a sudden increase in the depth and speed of water in rivers, streams, or washes due to heavy rain from thunderstorms.

▪️What are the signs of a flash flood?

Some signs may include; muddy water, lots of floating debris, rise in water level, increase of water speed, strong winds, and the sound of rushing water.

▪️Familiarize yourself with the flash flood rating system:

NOT EXPECTED: Flash flooding is not expected.
POSSIBLE: Some slot canyons, dry washes, and small streams may experience flash flooding.
PROBABLE: Some slot canyons, dry washes, and small streams are expected to experience flash flooding.

Zion Tip Tuesday! We are located at Stop 1 on the Springdale Line. Stop 1 is also the last stop in town to the pedestrian entrance to the park. A Zion Canyon Village Greeter is located right at the pavilion to answer any questions and offer suggestions as needed.
