TRAFFIC ADVISORY for this Saturday:
There is a half marathon event on Saturday, March 1st, resulting in road closures and delays.
Expect delays from the Kolob Terrace to Springdale on SR-9 from 6:45 AM to 7:15 AM, followed by minor delays from 7:15 AM to 10:30 AM
Please plan your travel accordingly and allow extra time for your commute.

I LOVE!!! my Mountain Hardwear Mineral King III tent! Looks like the NY Times does too! I wonder how we get them to switch the link at the bottom to Zion Outdoor instead of REI & Backcountry 🤣 we just got another one in last week!

After sleeping in 27 tents, we think the Mountain Hardwear Mineral King 3 is the best tent for two people and the Eureka Copper Canyon LX 6 is best for most families.

Hey there internet friends :) Let’s all scroll though these slides from to see some really bad examples of how to enjoy the outdoors. There’s basically one rule to follow while exploring outside; any guesses? .... that’s right!! 👍 this includes, but is not limited to these example photos. Please, if you see someone doing any of these things, let them know that they shouldn’t be doing what they’re doing. Help them understand that the wilderness should be kept wild!
