We quietly opened our doors again last week. 🤍
After being closed for the month of July for our little POP refresh, we had imagined reopening with a lot more… well, pop.
But just days before we were set to welcome you back, devastating wildfires swept through our Spokane community, destroying homes, displacing families, and changing everything for so many of our neighbors.
Celebrating a reopening simply didn’t feel right.
Instead, we spent those first days doing what so many of you were doing, checking in on our people, making sure everyone was safe, helping where we could, and holding our community a little closer. Members of our own POP family were impacted, and loved ones of our team needed places to land.
So we opened quietly.
No big announcement. No balloons at the door. Just grateful to be back, grateful our people are safe, and heartbroken for the families in our community who have lost so much.
Our doors are open again, Spokane. The shop has been refreshed, the shelves are full, and we’re here when you need a little celebration in your life. But right now, more than anything, we just want to say how much we love this community.
To everyone who has checked in, opened their homes, donated, volunteered, fed someone, housed someone, or simply showed up for a neighbor, this is Spokane. And we are so proud to call it home.
