Hopefully you're weekday stress has begun to letup and your Freshie Friday has only gotten more amiable along the way.

The workweek is starting to conclude and the weekend excitement is in the queue. Trust me, I have a cheat code for this! Revel in the prologue to the weekend, the opening chapter of rest, "ME TIME", recharge and leisure.

As a gamer, there is no transition into playfulness than your system loading and once you land on the title screen the words "PRESS START" take on a alternative meaning. When you press start you execute the protocol to spawn your weekend commences.

Good Morning Vaulters, game enthusiasts, pop culture creatures and nostalgia nerds! (Undoubtedly, we're bigger geeks and proud of it so don'tsweat it. It's what makes this gig da bomb, phat, tight, fly, and rad.)

This Freshie Friday we're casting the limelight upon a beloved legendary game spawning from the bygone times of October 1998. Launching a franchise that went strong until September 2015. But we could've done without Mei Ling constantly interrupting serious codec briefings to give Snake long, completely unrelated traditional proverbs and giving you a quick feeling of listlessness. 1. Pagers were one of the most important ways to communicate.

In 1994, 61 million people were sporting pagers.

2. MissCleo told people their futures (but probably not).

Miss Cleo was the spokesperson for Psychic Readers Network Inc. and was known for making psychic readings on her pay-per-call service to people who would dial in. She later got a $5 million fine from the FTC for making deceptive claims, you know, like about being psychic. The amazing thing is that they didn't see it coming.

3. In 1990, NC-17 became an official movie rating.

The first movie to get the rating? 1990'sHenry & June.

4. Slap Bracelets noisily adorned wrists in high schools everywhere.

This short-lived fad was invented by a high school shop teacher who was playing with steel ribbons.

5. The "show about nothing" had one rule.
Larry David made a “no hugging, no learning” rule for Seinfeld scripts.

Basically, he didn't want the characters to have sentimental, Full House-y revelations.
